ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Buena Vista Elementary School project involved a full modernization to bring the two-story concrete building, constructed in the 1960s, up to current accessibility and fire life safety codes.  The renovation included a new exterior exit stair, new elevator, and four permanent modular classrooms in the yard.  Due to tight site constraints, construction phasing was critical and required close coordination with the user group, school district, construction manager, and general contractor.
